The Center for Conflict Resolution’s success in preventing and resolving conflict and in preventing violence throughout our community is made possible by its dedicated volunteers. Your help is needed in the areas described below. Internships also may occasionally become available.

Obtain community mediation knowledge and experience and maintain a supervised caseload. Mediators are required to take the CCR mediation skills workshop, ensuring that a consistent model and philosophy is used for all referred cases. Qualifications: Individuals must be at least 18 years old and willing to volunteer at least one-hour per week. In addition, individuals should possess strong writing and verbal skills, be highly motivated and exhibit exceptional organizational skills.
Administrative assistants perform a wide variety of administrative and clerical services, including answering phones, entering data into the mediation tracking system and filing. Qualifications: Individuals should be willing to volunteer at least one-hour per week. In addition, individuals must exhibit strong organizational skills and possess exceptional writing and verbal communication skills. They should enjoy brainstorming, be highly motivated and willing to take initiative on projects and be efficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
